Daniel Wiesner is a PhD candidate at the Political Communication Research Group (POLCOM) at the University of Vienna, under the supervision of Univ.-Prof. Dr. Sophie Lecheler. In his dissertation, he focuses on the politicization of science by political elites.
He holds master's degrees in Communication Science and Political Science and a diploma degree (Mag.) in German Philology from the University of Vienna. He previously worked as tutorial lecturer at the Department of Communication at the University of Vienna and as a student assistant at the Centre for European Integration Research (EIF).
