Sophie Lecheler elected as a member of Academia Europaea

Sophie Lecheler has been elected into the pan-European Academy of Humanities, Letters, Law, and Sciences (Academia Europaea). Congratulations!

The Academia Europaea was founded in 1988, on the initiative of the UK's Royal Society and other National Academies in Europe. The Academia Europaea is the only Academy with individual membership from the Council of Europe states and from other nations across the world. Its members, some 5000 currently, are eminent, individual scientists and scholars, who cover the full range of academic disciplinesBased on her sustained academic excellence in her field, the primary criterion for membership, Sophie Lecheler was nominated by existing members of the organization and successfully elected into the 2022 class of the Academy.
