Selma Hodzic is a student of the Communication Science master’s program at the University of Vienna. She completed her bachelor’s degree in journalism. She works as a communication assistant for the Norface Governance project led by Univ.-Prof. Dr. Sophie Lecheler. She previously worked as an assistant professor at the Department of Journalism at the Faculty of Philosophy in Tuzla (BiH). Her research interests include political communication with the focus on the influence of social networks in the election period, fake news in the service of political propaganda and constructive journalism. Her work has been published in the International Journal Center for Media Philosophy and Research (CFM).
